Driver Side Door Wont Open From Inside Or Outside

I gave it a good tug and the handle came off the door in my hand leaving the rest of the handle mechanism on the door.

So the door locks work and even the keypad locks and unlocks them. The lock on my door still goes up and down as if it can be locked and unlocked. This is an issue that occurs because of a feature that has been installed in certain models of cars it may be caused because of a button on the remote that activates the lock. The handle has no tension in it whatsoever.

Do i need to replace any. When you attempt to open the door from the inside the outside door handle pulls up like you are opening the door from the outside.
