Enamel Chipped Off Front Tooth

Recently a fairly large piece of enamel about 2mm by 3mm broke off my tooth and i had a dentist put some of that dental cement on that spot.

The three teeth are the ones next to my front teeth. I am only 18 and i have been drinking out of a straw in case its because of what i drink. The latter results in a large part of the crown breaking off and perhaps even the pulp nerve being exposed in which case their will be a lot of pain from the area.
